The improved Victory flush valve is actuated by a simple lever or press button movement which forces a plunger forward against a valve rocker pin thus causing a mushroom valve to tilt on its seating. Water pressure in the valve body above the moving piston is accordingly released, thus allowing water pressure from below to force the piston upwards until the valve rocker clears the end of the plunger. The mushroom valve then closes, leaving the piston at its full stroke. The main valve is now open and water is being delivered. At the same time, however, pressure of water above the piston is gradually built up in order automatically to reseat the main valve ready for further use. |
